This was a "Red Letter Week" at school for Aaron Ty - and the red letter was "A". Believe it or not, this all happened in one day, too.
On Wednesday, not only was Dad the library aid and read "Move Over, Rover" to his class, but on the same day, Aaron got perfect scores on both a spelling and a large vocabulary test.
The vocabulary test was the third such test this year covering several weeks worth of vocabulary words. He knew all the words, scoring 100%. After three of these tests, he has missed a total of one word.
The spelling test was his sixth since they began at the end of December. This was the fifth time he got 100% on the practice test, which meant he didn't have to take the regular test. The only time he didn't get 100% on the practice test was the week when he had missed the first two days of the week and had to take the test without ever having seen the words.
This fifth perfect score netted him a prize worthy of his hard work - a Kit Kat candy bar!
