Goofy's Speedway is now open!
For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about ... ToonTown is one of Aaron's favorite things to play. It's an online game where you create your "toon" and interact with others to defeat Cogs using gags. You earn jelly beans, own a home, buy clothes and furniture, fish, play games ... and now race.
You get 200 tickets to start with which is just enough to get a basic kart and some color. Then you race against others to earn more tickets to get a better kart or accessories for you kart. Aaron (and Kim) have been looking forward to this since it was announced last month.
It finally went "live" yesterday and we planned a ToonTown after dinner play date for the three of us last night. Unfortunately so did every other family it seemed. It was nearly impossible to get your kart, let alone race due to the amount of people also trying to do it.
We finally were able to this morning, however, and what a treat it was for Aaron. He got his kart and painted it green (his favorite color) and hit the practice tracks to earn more tickets. There are three different raceways - City Circuit, Screwball Stadium and Rustic Raceway.
Go! Aaron Go!
