A little different Aaron Ty Thursday

Normally our Thursdays together are pretty routine. We come home from school, do homework for about an hour, play a bit, eat dinner and then play some more. This Thursday was a bit different.

The Health Department was giving the H1N1 vaccines at Aaron's school on Thursday. So we went right from his class to Room 12 to have that taken care of. Aaron Ty does not like needles, so that was a bit traumtic, but as it turns out, the shot didn't hurt a bit (as Dad said), and all was well. He's had no reaction to it whatsoever, so my worries have been put to rest as well.

As a reward (or bribe) for getting the shot, we stopped at McDonald's on the way home for dinner.

After we got home and finished eating, we found there was no homework to do. So Aaron Ty got a headstart on next week's spelling words assignment.

So by 4:30 everything was done and we had the rest of the evening to play.

Most of that was taken up with LEGO Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues on the PC. But we did make time for some WoW, of course.
