On Tuesday we had a wonderful visit from Aaron's grandparents from Arizona. And, yes, that makes them in-laws, but, hey, you can't complain much about in-laws that live 2,000 miles away.They hadn't been able to make it here for Christmas for the first time in years, so they missed Aaron's fourth birthday, as well as, Christmas.
Aaron Ty had a great time playing with them and showing them his stuff and all the things he could do. Grandma had to sit through a few Batman games.
Then Kim had the wonderful idea of having a special dinner for them, and since they missed it, we made a little Christmas dinner of turkey, mashed and sweet potatoes, corn and more.
We all ate well and had a wonderful visit and I have to admit that as much as I enjoy making in-law jokes, I am blessed to have two sets of good ones.
