Kennywood '08 was all about the fright

This year's trip to Kennywood was a bit different from last year. Aaron Ty was making plans before we ever left for what he was going ride. Last year, being his first trip ever to an amusement park, it was mostly about just getting on rides. He remember what he really liked and knew what he wanted to do.

Kennywood also had a new ride this year that we couldn't wait to try. It was our first stop (after the bathrooms, of course).

The new ride is called Lord Kenneth Ghostwood & his estate. The object of this ride is to shoot the ghosts and that's all Aaron Ty and I needed to hear. We climbed in a car with laser guns and went about shooting targets and making as many ghosts as possible jump out and scare us. The car even keeps score (Dadda won, of course).

After that we hit Garfield's Haunted ride, two sets of cars plus bumper cars, and more. Aaron Ty said his favorite ride was The Turtle, which was the last ride we hit. The weather was perfect, we ate well, drank well, and came home with cotton candy. And a good time was had by all.
