Everyone seemed truly thrilled with our little knight and he was every bit the knightly gentleman. Each house was greeted not with the common "trick or treat", but instead he imparted a friendly, "Happy Halloween", followed by a pleasant "thank you". I'm sure this all led to the extra treats he seemed to garner at each house. Even I, his leather and fedora clad guide, was rewarded by the friendly folks on this Hallowed Eve.
I can easily say that for all the enjoyment I got from Halloweens in my youth, none of them compared to the thrill of walking through the neighborhood this night with Aaron Ty. He may have gotten the candy, but the real treat was truly enjoyed by me. Thank you, son.
