We saw Scrappy (the team mascot) as well as Dora the Explorer, who through out the first pitch.
For those of you who don't know, the Scrappers are a single A affiliate of the Cleveland Indians and have done very well since coming to the Valley a few years ago. They were the NY Penn League champs last season.
Last year Aaron and I went to the game on Father's Day, which as you can imagine was the best Father's Day I could ask for. This year their season didn't start until after Father's Day so we waited until another special event. It came on Monday with a county health fair and the appearance of Dora the Explorer.
We had a great time playing in the Fun Zone and eating hot dogs, peanuts and bringing cotton candy home. Aaron's favorite part was the bang from all the foul balls hitting the facade surrounding the stadium.
Oh, and the Scrappers won!
