Serengeti TrekRory the Lion was today's character. The Bible story was Daniel in the Lion's Den. Today I had a special treat as Aaron's class (Pre-K) teacher asked me if I would modify my presentation for them. It was truly the best class of the day. The kids were great and really seemed to enjoy hearing about Daniel and how he escaped becoming "lion lunch" by praying to God.
The kids were all on their toes when they heard the key phrase, "Talk to God" and responded with "Wow!" And while I didn't have the hungry lions sound effects playing in the background during their class, I had left the "DANGER LIONS" sign up on the sectioned off area of the room. Aaron led the curiosity charge to see if there were really lions back there.
